Special Sessions

As in previous editions ICIP 2008 will include a number of special sessions. In addition ICIP 2008 will include 2-4 workshops taking place on October 12. Workshops will include tutorial presentations, lectures and posters on specific focused areas, while special sessions will consist of lectures and will continue to be part of the main technical program. Proposals for special sessions will be due to Drs. Katsaggelos and Rose at specialsessions@icip08.org by January 7, 2008.

Special Session Proposals — Due January 7, 2008

Proposals for special sessions include all aspects of image processing and related fields and applications. The main criteria for special session selection will be the focused subject matter and topic appeal to the ICIP audience. The special session papers will be part of the regular technical program schedule and will appear on the conference CD-ROM and will be indexed in IEEE Xplore. The accepted papers must be ready at the same time as the final versions for the papers for the main conference.

Send your two-page proposal to Aggelos Katsaggelos and Kenneth Rose at specialsessions@icip08.org by January 7, 2008.

Proposals should include:

  1. Title and Topic
  2. Paragraph justifying the special session
  3. Names and email addresses of session organizers
  4. Tentative list of invited speakers
